August 15, 1953  –  April 24, 2026

Jocelyn Marie Dussault — mother, sister, granny Jo, Nee Nee, aunt, cousin, and friend — passed away on April

24, 2026, at the age of 72.

Jocelyn was born to Lucien Dussault and Aldina Belanger on August 15, 1953, in Onion Lake,

Saskatchewan. She had one brother, Roland Dussault, who predeceased her in 2025.

She married Henry Brousseau in 1971. Together, they raised three daughters — Angel (Rick Gamache),

Rollande Brousseau, Carmen Reid (Sean Langer) — and one son, Rosaire (Mandi Brousseau). Although

they parted ways in 1983, Jocelyn and Henry remained devoted to their children and continued to

celebrate all major holidays and milestones together as a family.

In her youth, Jocelyn loved sports and proudly served as captain of her volleyball team. She grew

abundant gardens that fed her family and brought beauty to her home. She had a wonderful sense of

humor and a gift for making everyone around her laugh.

Jocelyn loved puzzling, took great pride in her coin collection, and spent countless hours

researching and organizing each piece. From the earliest days of her life, she adored caring for

babies — she was rarely seen without one in her arms. She became a second mother to many children

and helped raise her grandchildren and numerous others throughout her life.

She was predeceased by her mother, Aldina Elizabeth Dussault; her father, Lucien Edward Dussault;

her brother, Roland Dussault; her niece, Lana Dussault; brother in law Gary Begon, and her best

friend, Gloria Tremblay.

Jocelyn will be deeply missed by her three daughters, her son, and their spouses — Angel (Rick

Gamache), Rollande Brousseau, Carmen (Sean Langer), and Rosaire (Mandi Brousseau); her

god‑daughter, Amanda Cook; and her ten grandchildren — Karson Gamache, Khade Gamache, Kirk McLean,

Layne Nielsen, Daryl Reid, Kamryn Reid, Dallas Brousseau, Ashton Brousseau, Molly Brousseau, and

Tucker Brousseau. She is also mourned by many friends, cousins, nephews, and nieces. Her absence

will be felt not only by her family, but by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank‑you to Chantal Reid, Erin Schwan, Vivian Martin,

Stacy Kahanyshyn, Jack and Audrey McKee, and the countless others who were always there to help her

with anything she needed when we could not be. We are also deeply grateful to her friends at Villa

Ouimette and the lodge, who watched over her with such kindness and never failed to brighten her

days with sweet treats. Our family was truly blessed to have so many earth angels surrounding

Jocelyn and making her time on this earth more comfortable, joyful, and full of love.

A memorial will be held in the spring

Respectfully submitted by her children.
