It is with profound sadness that the family of Jane Davidson (née Morrow) of Cold Lake, Alberta, announces her passing on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the age of 82 years. Jane was a deeply loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, and her loss will be felt by all who knew and loved her.

Jane found happiness in the familiar comforts of home. She enjoyed watching her favourite television shows and movies—especially a good crime drama, which was usually playing at full volume. She adored her cats, Cloudy, Smoky, and Stormy, and loved spending time playing with the dogs, Keanu and Cherry Pie.

Jane took great pride in her home and enjoyed keeping it clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Her home was filled with photographs, keepsakes, and treasured mementos of the people she loved and those she had lost. These reminders allowed her to keep her family and her memories close to her heart.

Although Jane was happiest at home and never turned down the chance for a good nap, what she treasured most was time spent with family and friends. She looked forward to going to her daughter, Jacquiline’s home to play bingo and treasured the time she spent visiting with Margaret, Edward, and Angelina. She also loved chatting with her friends and talking on the phone with her brother and sister. Jane cared deeply about her family and always wanted to know how everyone was doing.

Jane had a wonderful sense of humour and a special way of making those around her laugh. She took genuine joy in bringing smiles to others, and her warmth, laughter, and loving presence will be remembered by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Jane will be lovingly remembered by her children, listed from oldest to youngest: her daughter, Jacquiline Davidson (Brett Alore) of Ardmore, Alberta; her daughter, Margaret Davidson (Mick Lupal) of Cold Lake, Alberta; her son, Edward Davidson (Amanda Rehman) of Cold Lake, Alberta; and her daughter, Angelina Davidson of Cold Lake, Alberta.

She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Lorne Davidson, Sarah Davidson, Melissa  Schwartz, Alisha Dean, Chantelle Lefebvre, Jonathan Davidson, and Skye Davidson; her great-grandchildren, Brody Davidson, Nixon Davidson, Alexis Lefebvre, Hazel Schwartz, Vivian Schwartz, and Jeremy Lagimodiere; her brother, John (Margaret) Morrow; her sister, Jasmesina Fenner; as well as her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Jane was predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret Morrow, and her sisters, Catherine Foster and Margaret Clark.

Jane’s life was centred around family, laughter, and love. Her memory will live on in the photographs and mementos she treasured, in the stories her family will continue to share, and in the hearts of everyone whose life she touched. She was deeply loved, will be greatly missed, and will never be forgotten.
