Genmec ACL Hall Open For Public Use

The Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre is proud to announce the opening of the Genmec ACL Hall.

The newly renovated facility will add a new dynamic to the C2 by providing more space for community events, family celebrations, sports and drop-in activities for all ages.

“After Bonnyville Centralized High School (BCHS) vacated that part of our facility, we jumped at the opportunity to upgrade the space to be more conducive to meet our community needs” explained C2 GM Les Parsons. “This newly renovated hall will allow us to accommodate more activities that will appeal to C2 guests.”

The renovation would not have been possible without the Government of Alberta’s Community Facility Enhancement Project (CFEP) Grant, along with financial support from the Town and MD of Bonnyville.

Parsons detailed, “We are very grateful for Genmec ACL, not only for the work that they have done to upgrade the facility but for their financial contribution.”

The aesthetic of Genmec Hall was developed with community events in mind while keeping the space functional for drop-in activities, sports, and recreation.
