Bonnyville Pontiacs dominate All-Rookie-Team, League All-Stars

It’s one of the best showings in Bonnyville Pontiacs history.

On Monday, the Alberta Junior Hockey League announced it’s All-Star Teams and All-Rookie Teams, with the Yaks receiving three nods for each of the division selections.

Matteo Giampa, Nico Beaudoin, and Jack Budd were named to the North Division All-Star Team, while Beaudoin, Max Seguin, and Noah Heinrich made the North Division All-Rookie Team.

Only Beaudoin and Brooks defenceman Sam Court made each team.

The accolades continue after Beaudoin and captain Trey Funk were presented before Game 1 with the Rookie of the Year and Most Dedicated Player awards.
