Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Alberta has postponed all fundraising events until it’s safe to bring people again in groups.

The Run for RMHC Alberta, originally scheduled for May 2 is postponed and RMHC Alberta Lakeland Golf Classic has been rescheduled to Saturday, September 26, instead of June.

“We want to thank you for your patience and your flexibility, and for your support of RMHC Alberta families,” said Oreen Skiba, Stakeholder Relations Manager, Lakeland Region in an email.

“When we all come through this together, our families will need your support more than ever.”

Ronald McDonald House Charities fundraised $138,000 from the Winterland Invitational hockey tournament in 2020.

In its third year, 36 teams atom and peewee teams came to Bonnyville, Elk Point, and Glendon on Family Day weekend with an eye to expand to Cold Lake for next year’s tournament.
