On March 15th, Bonnyville RCMP received a report of a break and enter that had occurred to a rural residence within the last several days. The theft happened around Range Road 472 & Township Road 590.

There was a break and enter into a shed with some valuable items stolen, such as generators and a chainsaw.

RCMP are asking anyone who may have witness suspicious activity on or around March 15th to contact the Bonnyville Detachment.

Also as a reminder to the public, Sargaent Sarah Parke advises the public to keep track of equipment serial numbers, “you don’t even have to jot it down, a picture will help.”

The Sgt. explains that it can be tough to identify stolen equipment and return it to the rightful owners without proof of the serial number or identifying marks.

“Pictures are good because we can identify the items and also fan those pictures out to the public from the media.”
