RCMP Investigate Arson in Frog Lake

Elk Point RCMP investigate residence fire

Elk Point RCMP are investigating a suspected arson. On Jan. 28, 2017 at approximately 10:00 a.m., police were patrolling Frog Lake First Nations when they located an abandoned residence fully engulfed in flames.

Frog Lake fire personnel were on scene when police arrived. No one was inside the residence and no other homes were damaged.

A fire investigator attended and it is believed the fire was deliberately set sometime in the morning hours.

The investigation is ongoing.
