St. Paul Lane Closure

Last Updated: March 31, 2016By Tags: , ,

The Town of St. Paul Public Works department has closed the south turning lane of the west bound lane on 50th Ave and 48th Street. The lane closure is due to a water line break that is eroding the road. The Town of St. Paul has been in contact with Alberta Transportation and has received approval to close the lane.

Construction Schedule

The lane will be monitored by the Town of St. Paul Public Works department. Work will commence as soon as the weather is favorable and the frost has lifted. The expected completion of the work on the water line is unknown at this time until further investigation into the break can be determined.

Lane Closure

In order to complete the work in a safe and efficient manner, the lane will be physically closed in the vicinity for all traffic and pedestrians for the duration of the repair. One lane will still remain open to allow for the flow of traffic.

The Town of St. Paul realizes that the work will disrupt traffic flow, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible with safety as the number one priority. We are asking the public to follow all posted signs and to adhere to the barricades that will be set-up around the lane closure. We are asking the public to slow down when the crews are working in the area.
