In Loving Memory: Murray Pikowicz – Northern Lights Funeral Chapel
Murray Pikowicz
Murray Pikowicz, a devoted husband of 58 years, a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the age of 79 years.
Murray is lovingly survived by his wife, Linda Pikowicz; his children: Jade (Doug) Bacon, Blake (Tina) Pikowicz, and Avery Pikowicz; his grandchildren: Kane (Taylor), Kagen (Casey), Braelen (Tylor), Walker (Claire), Donovan (Gabby), Danielle (Troy), and Ebany, Kye, Sutter and Calder; his siblings: Ronald (Lou) Pikowicz, Valerie (Barry) Brucks, and Shelly Pikowicz; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, John & Margery Pikowicz; his grandson, Sterling Bacon; and his brother, Dwayne Pikowicz.
Murray was a farmer at heart, dedicated to the land and the work that shaped his life. He found purpose in staying busy and tending to the tasks that kept him busy. He loved the outdoors, especially the quiet peace of fishing, hunting, and just the thought of being outside in nature.
Time spent with his wife, children and grandchildren was his greatest happiness. Whether sharing stories, helping, or simply being together, he treasured every moment. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he took immense pride in each of them.
Murray leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and the simple joys that meant the most to him — memories his family will hold close forever.
A Celebration of Murray’s Life will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the Fort Kent Community Centre at 11:00 AM.
