On June 4, 2026, Derrick “Dodge” Crane of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 61 years. He is survived by his children, Wilfred, Derreck, Lydia, Victoria & Dieann; grandchildren, Rain, Oakland, Declan, Haislyn, Marlise, Maurice, Sherita, Xavier, Ava-Skye, Leslie Jr. & Aaliyah; special daughter-in-law, Kayla Pruden; brother, James; cousins, Don, Brian & Charles; numerous other family & friends. Derrick was predeceased by his loving wife, Patricia Chaboyer; parents, Wilfred & Lydia Littlecrane; brothers, Freddy & Laurie; sisters, Denise, Doreen, Sandra, Donna and one in infancy.
A Wake will be held Tuesday, June 9 (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Wednesday,, June 10 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake with Pastor Linda Burns officiating. Cremation to follow.
