It is with deep sadness that we announce that on June 3, 2026, Sharon “Lynn” Proskiw (nee Kryvenchuk) from Elk Point, Alberta passed away surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 60 years after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Brian; sons, Curtis (Keeley) and their sons, Truitt & Leelin, Tyson (Brittany) and their children, Blayke, Huxley & Everly, Jason (Marisa) and their children, Payton, Mila & Rylee, Mark (Shaylee) and their furbaby, Copper. She will be deeply missed by her mother, Marlyne Kryvenchuk; brother, Darrell (Ronette); sister, Karen; numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Lynn was predeceased by her father, Eric “Ralph” Kryvenchuk; her grandparents, Orville & Letty Berthot, Sankey
& Lena Kryvenchuk; father & mother-in-law, John & Mary Proskiw.
Lynn was known for her big heart and welcomed everyone she met with open arms. She could light up a room with her laughter, calm a storm with her hug and she always made sure you were fed. She had the uncanny ability to turn even the most mundane moments into cherished memories and left an unforgettable mark with her love and kindness.
Lynn will always be remembered for her love, strength and beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
In honor of Lynn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Hall, St. Paul with Pastor Kelly Sibleyofficiating. To send condolences online, please visit www.gracegardensfunerlachapel.
