The family of Douglas “Doug” Gordon Duguid of Bonnyville, Alberta is deeply saddened to announce his passing on Friday, May 29, 2026 at the age of 71 years, surrounded by the love and comfort of his loved ones.

Leaving to mourn Doug’s memory is his loving partner of over 21 years: Thelma; sons: Darin (Danielle), Alan, Zack; stepchildren: Ashley (Daniel), Joshua (Mikaela), Cody (Samantha); grandchildren: Ryder (Mykaela), Dextyn, Weston, Huxley, Beau, Tucker, Anastasia, Oaklyn, Elijah; siblings: Donna (Patrick), Dodi (John), David, Barbara (Dave), Beverly (Glen); Doug will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

Doug was predeceased by his parents: David & Dorothy; grandparents: Cline & Dorothy, Peter & Elizabeth; sister-in-law: Janice.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
