St. Paul RCMP Looking for Armed Break and Enter Suspects After Early Morning Store Robbery

St. Paul RCMP are asking for the public’s help after five masked suspects armed with weapons broke into a rural convenience store early Saturday morning.

Armed suspects target store near Highway 866

Police say the break and enter happened around 3:10 a.m. on Feb. 14 at a convenience store located at the intersection of Highway 866 and Township Road 610.

At 9 a.m., RCMP received a 911 call reporting the incident.

Investigators say five suspects wearing face coverings forced their way into the store while armed with multiple weapons. The suspects stole large quantities of alcohol, cigarettes and fireworks before fleeing the scene.

Stolen vehicle later found burned

RCMP say the suspects left in a stolen brown Chevrolet Trailblazer. The vehicle was later located burned on Saddle Lake First Nation.

No employees or customers were inside the store at the time of the break and enter and no injuries have been reported.

Police asking for tips

St. Paul RCMP are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
