Glenn Wayne “Soop” Waskahat

December 16, 1970 – November 7, 2025

It is with saddened hearts that the Waskahat family announce the passing of their, father, brother, uncle, mósom, nephew, cousin and friend, Glenn “Soop” Waskahat on Thursday, November 7,

2025, in Edmonton at 54 years of age.

 

Soop will be remembered by his 2 sons; Dakota Keewatin and Xander Willier, 5 siblings; Caroline Waskahat, Ruby (Glen) Kapeepatow, Alvina Waskahat (Linus), Randy Waskahat, and Ivy

Waskahat (James), as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

 

Glenn was predeceased by his parents; Alma Waskahat and Paul George, 2 sisters: Carol and Jacqueline Waskahat, and 2 brothers; Chris and Romero Waskahat; nephew: Brendan Waskahat;  nieces: Samantha Waskahat..Noreen Smayda and Threna Morgan Waskahat.

 

Wake: Thursday, November 13, 2025 leaving Northern Lights, Bonnyville at 1:00 pm to the Norman C. Quinney Education and Career Center, Frog Lake.

Traditional Farewell Service: Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Norman C. Quinney Education and Career Centre, Frog Lake with interment to follow at Clear Water Lake

Cemetery, Frog Lake.
