Serious collision claims life of 61-year-old Bonnyville man

One person is deceased and three have suffered injuries following a serious vehicle incident on Thursday night.

Bonnyville RCMP were called to a single vehicle collision on Township Road 460 north of La Corey at around 10:21PM. 

Police determined there were four occupants of the vehicle, three of which were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

A 61-year-old male resident of Bonnyville was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the road was closed for many hours. Preliminary investigation suggests that impairment was a factor.
