The 2024 Bonnyville Pro Rodeo with World Professional Chuckwagon Association races kick off tonight for four days of entertainment.
The team at the Bonnyville Ag Society, as well as a hundred volunteers, have been working hard the few days to prepare for the large turnout, and preparing the track for four days of wagon racing.
It’s a massive outfit of roughly 40 racers who are competing this year, among the most Bonnyville has seen. Last year, Obrey Motowylo took home the grand prize.
Highlights include:
- -Thursday: Day 1 of races and rodeo
- -Friday’s Chamber Chili Cook-off
- -Friday: Day 2 of races and rodeo
- -Friday: Dance with Main Street Band
- -Saturday: Pancake Breakfast
- -Saturday: Day 3 of the races and rodeo
- -Saturday: Dance with Fox & Hounds with Morgan Klaiber
- -Sunday: $22,000 Dash for Cash
Tickets can be purchased on-site upon entry. The recommendation is to come early. Last year, the grandstands filled up fast and there are occasions when it sells out.
