Bonnyville Health Centre operating rooms & obstetrics restored following water leak

Surgeries and obstetrical services at Bonnyville Health Centre have returned to full service as of this Thursday morning, Covenant Health said.

The facility’s operating rooms were temporarily closed at the end of April due to damage caused by a water leak. Patients with surgeries scheduled while repairs were underway were contacted to reschedule their procedures.

“We are grateful to our staff and contractors who worked so diligently to restore our facility and ensure  safe patient care,” says Shelly Franklin, Site Administrator, Bonnyville Health Centre in a press release.

“We thank our Zone partners and the community for their patience and support while we worked to repair areas impacted by the water leak.”
