NDHS Hungry for Homeless Campaign taking place this afternoon in Bonnyville

Last Updated: September 23, 2021By

Notre Dame High School is holding a food drive this evening at Sobeys and Sylvester’s in Bonnyville to help feed the homeless.

The campaign is held annually as a fundraiser for the Friendship Centre by Notre Dame High School. The Bonnyville Friendship Centre is a hub for the Bonnyville Food Bank.

“The Food Bank provides emergency assistance to low-income families who fall short of food during the month. It also provides food for those that have recently moved into town for employment and don’t have the means to buy groceries,” The Bonnyville Friendship Centre stated on its website.

Students will accept food bank donations at both locations from 3:30 p.m. till 8:30 p.m.

Help students fight hunger in the Lakeland. Please support the NDHS Hungry for Homeless Campaign.
