Major Crimes Unit charges male with second-degree murder

Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has arrested a man in connection with a homicide last summer in Cold Lake.

On March 21, 2021, RCMP arrested 55-year-old Dale Edward Delorme from Cold Lake, who has been charged with one count of second degree murder in the death of 40-year-old Aubrey Skelding of Cold Lake.

The incident occurred on August 18, 2020.

RCMP said a Judicial Interim Release Hearing was held on Sunday and he was remanded into custody with a first appearance date of March 24, 2021 in Cold Lake Provincial Court.
