Frog Lake First Nation’s COVID free

AHS data map has Frog Lake highlighted, but the case is not within the First Nation.

In a press release from the Morning Sky Health and Wellness Society, Health Director for Frog Lake First Nations Karen Tremblay has said that there are no cases of COVID-19 within the community.

According to an interactive map maintained by AHS that tracks COVID case locations based on the municipality, as well as geographic area, there is an active case within the Frog Lake area, however, the community itself remains COVID free.

Active cases remaining include the County of Vermilion River with five cases, the County of St. Paul with two cases, while the City of Cold Lake has one case.

AHS reported three additional deaths from the disease over the weekend, all of which were over the age of 60.

There are currently 1,036 active cases in Alberta. There have been 12,053 recorded cases within the province, 10,796 of which that have recovered.
