Our Incident Management Team, along with our Region’s CAO’s, certainly have accepted the new normal in managing our way through this Pandemic. Additionally, I want to thank our Essential Services Stakeholders, whom we also meet with regularly, in ensuring the needs and safety of our region continues to be a priority. Last week it was announced that the Province of Alberta has implemented a Fire Ban for the Forest Protection Area (FPA). Currently, there is NO BAN within the County of St. Paul. We will continue to monitor the weather conditions, and will make adjustments accordingly. For any open burning of brush, grass, stubble, crops, etc., you must obtain a burning permit first by contacting the County of St. Paul at 780-645-3301.
