Six new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in AHS North, total to 10
In the North zone, six new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the province reaching a total of 10.
There were 27 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, now up to 146 in Alberta.
Dr. Deena Hinshaw reported the first death in Alberta from COVID-19 on Thursday in the Edmonton zone of a male in his 60s.
She said the affected had contracted the virus through community transmission.
Two people remain in intensive care.
Cold Lake is one of the regions in the North zone with a confirmed case.
The province’s health data is being updated on their website, which crashed on Thursday evening.
The green portion is the AHS North zone.
