The Bonnyville Pontiacs have put the final touches on their roster for the home stretch of the season.
The Pontiacs acquired 01′ forward Roc Truman from the Drumheller Dragons and sent 99′ defenceman Jeremy Gervais to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
Truman has 29 points in 28 games this season, his second in the AJHL.
Coach Rick Swan is familiar with the 2001-born forward, as he made the AJHL Selects team that represented Canada at the Sirius World Cup in August in Russia.
Gervais is 31st in league scoring with 35 points this season, fourth amongst AJHL defencemen.
The 20-year-old defenceman struggled at times in his own zone this season with turnovers and consistency.
The Pontiacs will also receive future considerations for a 2001 and 2002 forward from Salmon Arm on June 1.
To balance the roster before the Trade Deadline at 4:30pm on Friday, the Pontiacs have put forward Curtis Hammond on a Junior B card.
Truman is committed to NCAA school UMass-Lowell for the 2021-22 season.
The Pontiacs will take shape with their finalized roster tonight at the RJ Lalonde Arena at 7:00pm against the division-leading Sherwood Park Crusaders.
