Bonnyville RCMP Charge two suspects after a Drug Trafficking Investigation

The Bonnyville GIS conducted a drug trafficking investigation with the assistance of Edmonton ALERT and Cold Lake GIS, targeting two suspects believed to be trafficking cocaine in the community of Bonnyville.

On May 9th, 2018, Police executed a search warrant on the suspects’ residence in Bonnyville and arrested the two suspects, 30 year old Kristi FAUTH and 37 year old Nicholas STOVELL. Police searched their residence for evidence in relation to drug trafficking offences.

Kristi FAUTH has been released from custody on recognizance with conditions for charges related to drug trafficking and also a charge under the Drug Endangered Child Act.

Nicholas STOVELL was charged with possession of a scheduled substance, as well as other charges related to failing to comply with conditions which he was on from multiple previous drug trafficking charges.  Nicholas STOVELL has been remanded into custody and will appear on May 15th 2018 at the Bonnyville Provincial Court.
