Man charged following assault on the Highway

Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched to a 911 call of a domestic dispute in progress on Highway 41, on the roadway. The caller reported that the male driver began to drive erratically during the dispute and ended up launching his vehicle into the ditch. Occupants of the vehicle were himself, his wife and their one month old baby.

A 27 year old male, from Crane Lake, was subsequently arrested and charged with assault, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and a traffic violation. His first appearance is December 19th, 10:00 am in Bonnyville.

The name of the suspect has not been released.
