Collision aftermath shows signs of open liquor in vehicle.
On April 6th at 3:40 in the afternoon, a two vehicle collision occurred in the city of Cold Lake. When RCMP arrived they noted that one of the two vehicles involved in the incident had open liquor containers in the vehicle.
RCMP say that despite the fact that the driver, a female from Cold Lake, was able to walk and talk without visible signs of impairment, she did smell of alcohol. A sample of her breath was taken, of which she failed and was arrested.
A 38 year old female was taken to the Cold Lake Detachment, where two more samples of her breath were taken with results of 0.300; nearly four times the legal limit.
