Tales from the Timebox: March 14th, 2017
Our midget team, who are hosting the provincial finals in just two weeks, played their zone finals this past weekend. Winning over Smokey Lake here last Thursday 5 to 4 and then traveled to Smokey Lake on Sunday for the second game of the two game total point series winning that one 3 to 1 to win the Zone 2 banner. So, not only are they hosting the Midget D Provincial Finals, but they are legitimate contenders. And that’s not all, the midgets are playing in the final series of the North East League Tier 2 banner against Kitscoty. The first game of the best two out of three right here Tuesday March the 14th, the second game in Kitscoty on Thursday the 16th and then back here Sunday the 19th at 1pm (if necessary).And now for the K.A.
