BYLAW 754/16 (Amendment to Land Use Bylaw – Surveillance Suite)

SECTION 230 and 606 – THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Town of Elk Point, in the Province of
Alberta, has given first reading to By-Law 754/16 which will, upon final
passage and approval, amend Land Use Bylaw 717/13 to include the discretionary use of a Surveillance Suite in Commercial – C1 and Highway Commercial – C2 land use districts.
NOW THEREFORE NOTICE is hereby given by the Council of the Town of Elk Point that, Council is considering Amendment Bylaw 754/16 to allow for Surveillance Suite as a discretionary use within Highway Commercial (C2) and Commercial (C1) land use districts of the Land Use Bylaw 717/13.
All persons interested are hereby notified of proposed bylaw 754/16.
A Public Hearing is scheduled for Monday November 28, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the Town Council Chambers at 4914 – 50th Avenue in accordance with Section 230 and Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act.
