Police seek information regarding vandalism of electronic sign

Sometime late at night on August 11th or early morning on August 12th the big electronic sign that welcomes people to Fishing Lake Metis Settlement was shot multiple times. S/Sgt Barry LaRocque with the Elk Point RCMP Detachment says this is the second time this year the sign has been vandalized in this manner.

RCMP are currently investigation, “we will be reviewing surveillance video from the community,” confirms S/Sgt LaRocque; however there are no suspects at this time. It is not know what type of gun was used to vandalize the sign.
