Lac La Biche RCMP Investigate Arson

Apartment Fire Ruled Arson

On August 3, 2016 at approximately 3 a.m., Lac La Biche RCMP and the Lac La Biche County Fire Department responded to an apartment building fire in the town of Lac La Biche.  The apartment building consists of sixteen units and the fire was contained to one unit with minor smoke damage to others. Fire investigators spent the day processing the scene and determined the fire to have been set intentionally.  The Lac La Biche RCMP are continuing to investigate the arson and are seeking the public’s assistance.
