St. Paul RCMP Arrest & Charge Luke White

Police have arrested 31-year-old Luke Titus White after locating him in a local residence in St. Paul, Alberta this morning.

White, who had been unlawfully at large since Wednesday morning was tracked to a home in St. Paul in which he was hiding and was arrested without incident.  A court date has yet to be determined for his appearance in provincial court in St. Paul on the following criminal offences:

  • Escape lawful custody (Section. 145(1)(a) CC)*
  • Personation with intent (Section. 403(1)(a) CC)
  • Obstruct Police Office (Section. 129(a) CC)
  • Theft under $5,000 (Section. 334(b) CC)

  * – Criminal Code of Canada

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.  Given that the charges against White are now before the court have yet to be proven, no further information will be provided by the police.
