Bonnyville Amateur Football Call for Alumni

Head Coach of the Bonnyville Voyageurs Football club, Larry Godzuik is calling for former players to help celebrate after an exceptional year for the Bonnyville Amateur Football Association. Both the Bonnyville Bantam Bandits and the Bonnyville Peewee Renegades won Provincial Championships.

With the hope of improving the club’s facilities and continuing to grow Bonnyville football, Godzuik put out the following message to all former players:

Football in Bonnyville is on the rise and some of us would like to organize our alumni to help make Voyageurs football even better: Two events are planned for the new year

Friday: June 10 1st Annual Alumni Dine & Dance Fundraiser Raise funds to refurbish the Voyageur change room Supper, stories, guest speakers, silent auction, etc.

Saturday, June 11 1st Annual Alumni Flag Football Fundraiser An all day event with the final scheduled under the lights We would like to register our alumni group under the societies act of Alberta so we will need some guys with a little bit of free time to serve as an executive and help organize and plan these events.

We would like to plan an initial organization meeting for Monday, January 11, 6 pm at the Voyageurs change room. Please let me know if you can or would like to attend.
