As a result of Project RECAPP, a lengthy and joint investigation into the illicit drug trade in Cold Lake by the Cold Lake RCMP and ALERT, 59 year old Phyllis Walsh of Cold Lake was charged with trafficking in cocaine under Section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs & Substances Act.

During the evening of November 20, 2015, Cold Lake RCMP arrested Phyllis Walsh for trafficking cocaine from the Taxi she was operating.  Phyllis Walsh has since been released from custody on conditions to appear at Cold Lake Provincial Court on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at 10:00 a.m.

 

Removing even the smallest quantities of cocaine from the street is critical to individual and community health.  Remember that taking cocaine just once can trigger dramatic changes in the brain, causing memory loss and leaving the user addicted.
