Ardmore Woman Wins $100,000

$100,000 EXTRA win in Ardmore Jaqueline Wakaruk went into complete shock  when she discovered she had won $100,000 on the September 11 EXTRA draw. The lucky winner purchased her  LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket at Bonnyville Esso’s Reddi Mart, located at 4602 50 Avenue in Bonnyville.

She checked the ticket and discovered her win the day after the draw. “I gave the ticket to the clerk at  the store, and she scanned it for  me,” she said. “Everything went blank, and I couldn’t breathe for a moment. I tried to  be discreet so the people  around me in the store wouldn’t know.” Wakaruk immediately tried to call her husband to share her news.  “He didn’t answer the phone, so I left him a message. Then I just broke down and cried happy tears!” Wakaruk said she’s taking her time making decisions for her windfall.

“I’m going to pay some bills, and this will help with my  daughter’s wedding,” she said. “I’m going to be very careful to not spend it foolishly, but it will really help.”
