With heavy hearts, the family of Rodney Dale Sparklingeyes of Goodfish Lake, Alberta are deeply saddened to announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at the age of 43 years.

Rodney is survived by his daughter, Genesis Jackson; siblings: Robert Favel Jr., Sherry Greyeyes, Bruce Little, Greggery (Kaylalynn) Favel, David Favel, Angela Favel (Todd Gladue); kokoms: Annie Sparklingeyes, Josephine Watchmaker; Auntie Mary Sparklingeyes; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & other relatives.

Rodney was predeceased by his parents, Robert & Eva Favel; common-law spouse, Jolene Jackson; brother, Phillip Favel; sister, Candace Gratton; grandpa, Harry Sparklingeyes.

Wake, Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, Alberta (leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul at 1:00 p.m.).
