On August 2, 2026, Mr. Earl Cardinal of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his children, Benita Cardinal, Jessica Daniels, Joshua Daniels, Rebecca Cardinal & Virgil Cardinal; grandchildren, Talon, Darien, Teresse, Haley, Sarah (Danny), Evan, Qwen, Jorja, Jolene, Waseskwan, Aywastin, Sakastew, Dylan, Seven, Jack, Brycne, River & Phoenix; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joyce, Cathy, Wanda, Kirk, Carlos & Russell; numerous other relatives & friends. Earl was predeceased by his parents, Harry & Maggie Cardinal; brothers, Jimmy, Grant & Kirby; maternal grandparents, Billy & Sarah Dion; paternal grandparents, Norris & Isabelle Cardinal. Special thank you to Palliative Home Care & Cross Cancer Institute. A Wake will be held on Thursday, August 6 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.). A Traditional Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Cremation to follow.
