IN-HOME PET CARE PROVIDER & DOGGY DAYCARE ATTENDANT

BUSH-els of Fun Pet Care Services is growing and looking for passionate animal lovers to join the Lakeland’s largest pet care team. Whether you enjoy one-on-one pet care or the excitement of a busy doggy daycare, there are rewarding opportunities available to work with pets while making a difference in their lives.

For over six years, BUSH-els of Fun has provided professional, compassionate pet care across the Lakeland, serving more than 600 clients with services including pet visits, dog walking, overnight care, pet transportation, farm animal care, training support, grooming assistance, and more.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

• Contractor In-Home Pet Care Provider
  • Cold Lake, Bonnyville, Moose Lake, St. Paul, and Glendon
• Doggy Daycare Attendant
  • Full-Time & Part-Time
  • DOGtopia – Opening September

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS – IN-HOME PET CARE PROVIDER:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Ability to provide a Criminal Record Check
• Willingness to complete a Pet First Aid Course
• Genuine passion for animal care and welfare
• Comfortable working independently
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to bend, walk, stand, and safely handle animals
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is an asset

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS – IN-HOME PET CARE PROVIDER:

• Experience handling companion animals or farm animals
• Customer service experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – IN-HOME PET CARE PROVIDER:

• Walk dogs while providing safe and enriching exercise
• Provide daytime, evening, and weekend pet visits
• Feed pets, administer medications, provide companionship, playtime, and light grooming
• Provide overnight pet care in clients’ homes
• Deliver professional, compassionate care tailored to each pet

WHAT THIS POSITION OFFERS:

• Independent work focused primarily on animal care
• Variety in daily responsibilities
• Flexible scheduling based on availability and client needs
• Ability to choose daytime visits, overnight care, or both

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS – DOGGY DAYCARE ATTENDANT:

• Applicants aged 16+ may be considered
• Comfortable with the physical demands of working with dogs
• Experience with dogs (including personal pets)
• Ability to adapt to changing situations while maintaining a positive attitude
• Strong teamwork skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – DOGGY DAYCARE ATTENDANT:

• Supervise group play for dogs
• Organize enrichment activities
• Host birthday parties, themed events, and photo opportunities
• Clean and maintain daycare play areas
• Walk dogs as needed throughout the day
