It is with profound sadness that the family of Bonnie Jean Wettlaufer announces her passing at the Bonnyville Healthcare Centre at the age of 51 years.

Bonnie was a remarkably kind, caring, and loving person. Above all else, she cherished her family and found her greatest happiness in simply being surrounded by her children and loved ones. Her warmth, gentle spirit, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed.

Bonnie is lovingly survived by her sons: Dalton Wettlaufer, Brian Wettlaufer, Nathan Wettlaufer. She is also remembered with deep affection by her father, Brian Gilmore; her sister, Allison (Craig) Derrah; her brother, Brent Gilmore (Vicky Stanley); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Bonnie was predeceased by her mother, Thressa Gilmore; her maternal grandparents, Tressa & Berton Woodcock; and her paternal grandparents, Hazel & Bertrum Gilmore.

To honor Bonnie’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
