It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Senior, who peacefully left us on June 7, 2026, at 1:09 p.m. in Cold Lake, Alberta, at the age of 72 years.

Born on December 14, 1953, in Nelson House, Manitoba, Robert lived a life defined by family, kindness, humour, and quiet strength. He possessed a gentle nature that made people feel welcome and valued, and he was known for his quick wit and remarkable sense of humour. Whether through a joke, a story, or a simple smile, he had a way of bringing comfort and laughter to those around him.

Robert leaves behind his loving family, including his eldest son, John Senior, and his youngest son, Paul Senior. He is also survived by his sister, Elisabeth, his brother, Bruce, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss his presence.

He was predeceased by his brother Bill, his sister Helen, and his father, William Ernest Senior II.

This summer, Robert’s ashes will be taken to Fernie, British Columbia, where he will be laid to rest and reunited with his father, brother, and sister.

Those who knew Robert will remember a man whose greatest gifts were not measured in possessions or accomplishments, but in the kindness he showed others, the humour he shared, and the love he carried for his family. His gentle spirit touched many lives, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Though we mourn his passing, we take comfort in the memories he leaves behind and in knowing that he is now reunited with those who went before him.

Forever loved. Forever remembered.

Respectfully submitted by the family.
