September 30, 1955 ~ June 11, 2026 (age 70)
With deep sadness, the family of Darlene Susan Sereda announce the passing of their loving wife, mother and grandmother on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the age of 70 years.
Darlene was devoted to her family. She loved sewing, quilting and reading. Outdoors, her favorite activities included gardening, fishing, quadding, and walking the trails with her favorite fur-buddy, Sparky. And of course she would meet up with friends for activities like canasta, carpet bowling, as well as both ice- and floor-curling.
Left to cherish her memory are her precious family – beloved husband of 49 years, Orest; daughter: Christina Sereda; sons: Bryce Sereda, Dean (Sheena) Sereda; grandson: Kai; sisters: Sylvia Conrad, Vivienne (Patrick) Saiko-Russell; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Darlene was predeceased by son: Christopher (twin to Christina); parents: Fred and Elizabeth Saiko; sister: Martha Saiko.
Funeral Mass Saturday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul, with celebrant Reverend Father Andrew Schoenberger. Final resting place St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Paul.
