That’s where the See2Kids Summer Day Camps at the Bonnyville & District Centennial Centre come in.

Program Coordinator, Maja, has spent the past three years developing and refining the camps, learning what works, listening to feedback and creating experiences that keep kids excited to come back year after year.

Each week features a unique theme designed to keep kids excited and engaged throughout the summer. Returning favourites include Nerf Camp, Water Mania, Sports Camp and Art Camp. Disney Camp is also making a return after taking a year off, while organizers are introducing a brand-new Minute to Win It-themed week.

“Some of the popular themes that are coming back are Nerf, Water Mania, sports and art,” Maja explained. “Disney is back this year, and a new one that we’re doing is Minute to Win It.”

The themed approach keeps each week fresh and gives children the opportunity to choose activities that match their interests.

2. The Program Has Been Built and Improved Over Time

Summer camps often get better with experience, and that’s exactly what’s happened at See2Kids.

Maja has been involved in developing the camps for the past three years and says each season has provided valuable lessons about what kids enjoy most.

Rather than repeating the same formula, organizers continue to adjust programming based on what has worked well and what can be improved, helping create a better experience for participants each year. That commitment to continuous improvement means families are benefiting from a program that has been carefully crafted and adjusted based on real-world experience.

Parents can drop children off between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. and pick them up between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., providing flexibility for families balancing work commitments during the summer months.

“So anyone who works an eight-hour day has a little bit of flexibility to come get their kids,” said Maja.

According to Maja, the savings add up quickly.

“You would get the early bird discount, and the math is about $5 off per day if you do it for the early bird,” she said.
