Coleen Joy (Wolkoff) Reid
With deep sorrow and immense love, the family of Coleen Joy Reid of Okotoks, Alberta announce her unexpected passing on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the age of 73 years.
Coleen will be remembered for her caring heart, quiet strength, and the deep love she had for her family. She had a warm presence that made people feel welcome, and she leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured by those who knew her. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she took immense pride in watching her children and grandchildren grow.
Coleen is lovingly survived by her children, Chris (Rachel) Reid and Nick (Naomi) Reid; and by her cherished grandchildren, Everly and Amelia Reid, and Sawyer Reid. She is also survived by her brother, Gary Wolkoff, and her sister, Laraine Christofferson.
Coleen was predeceased by her father, Nicholas Wolkoff; her mother, Hazel Morrow; her uncle, Thomas Morrow; and her aunt, Kathleen Lougheed.
Though her passing was sudden, the love, kindness, and memories Coleen shared will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
In honour of Coleen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
