Local students pursuing careers in healthcare have a new opportunity to get support right at home.
The Bonnyville Health Centre Auxilians are now accepting applications for their 2026 bursary program, offering two bursaries valued at $2,000 each to eligible students in the region.
Supporting the Next Generation of Healthcare Workers
The bursaries are aimed at students already committed to the healthcare field and looking to continue their education. To qualify, applicants must:
- Be enrolled in their second year or higher of a health-related program
- Live in Bonnyville or the surrounding area
- Be willing to apply for employment at the Bonnyville Health Centre
The goal is simple — invest in local students and encourage them to bring their skills back to the community.
How to Apply
Students can apply in a couple of ways:
- Electronic applications can be requested by emailing helenwakulchyk@live.ca or texting 780-812-5821
- Paper applications are available at the Bonnyville Health Centre
