Two Hills RCMP Respond to Fatal Collision on Highway 41
A fatal motor vehicle collision north of Two Hills is under investigation following a crash involving a sedan and a semi-truck earlier this week.
What Happened
On Feb. 5, 2026, at approximately 8:48 a.m., Two Hills RCMP were called to a collision on Highway 41 near Highway 640. The crash involved a northbound sedan and a southbound semi-truck.
RCMP and EMS responded to the scene. EMS pronounced the driver of the sedan, a 44-year-old woman from Two Hills, deceased at the scene.
Investigation Details
RCMP say the investigation has determined the sedan and the licence plate attached to it had both been reported stolen.
Preliminary information indicates the sedan was travelling northbound on Highway 41 when it crossed the centre line into the southbound lane. Investigators say the semi-truck driver was unable to slow down or avoid the vehicle in time.
The sedan struck the semi-truck, then spun onto the right shoulder. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.

Two Hills RCMP have extended their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased as the investigation continues.
