On Tuesday, December 16, 2025 Rebecca “Sonia” Janvier passed away at the age of 66 years.
Sonia is lovingly survived by her 8 children: Ferris, Heather, Tiffany, April, Jody, Oliver, Jesse, Brandon; 17 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 5 siblings: Moses Janvier, Sylvia Janvier, Stuart Janvier, Wilma Janvier, Ruby Mattson; as well as numerous other relatives & friends.
Sonia was predeceased by her special friends: Oliver Anderson & John Janvier; siblings: Melanie, Alma, Bernard, Lydia, George Janvier, Wilson Janvier, Clifford, Lawrence, Richard; infant sister.
2 day Wake, Saturday & Sunday, December 27 (leaving Northern Lights Funeral Chapel Bonnyville at 2:00 p.m.), & 28, 2025 Cold Lake First Nations Spiritual Centre.
Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, December 29 at 11:00 a.m., St. Raphael Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations with interment to follow at Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery.
