Pontiacs Shine as Pendy and Constantino Sweep AJHL Weekly Honours

Last Updated: November 18, 2025By

The Bonnyville Pontiacs stole the spotlight this week as two of their own earned top recognition from the AJHL for the period of November 10–16.

Pendy Named AJHL Player of the Week
Maxwell Pendy continues to drive the Pontiacs’ offence and the league has taken notice. The AJHL’s leading scorer and Princeton University commit earned Player of the Week after an eight-point performance, including three goals. His consistency and pace have set the tone for Bonnyville’s forward group all season.

Constantino Earns Defensive Player of the Week
On the back end, Ben Constantino has become a force. The 2005-born defenceman picked up four points in three games to secure the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week title. Constantino now sits second among all AJHL defencemen with 18 points, anchoring a Pontiacs defence that continues to deliver.

A huge week for Bonnyville, with both Pendy and Constantino proving why the Pontiacs remain one of the league’s teams to watch.
