Vermilion RCMP laid 41 charges in July
During the month of July 2025, Vermilion RCMP responded to 313 calls for service.
Of those, 133 were related to traffic/vehicle complaints, 54 were related to property crimes, 24 were traffic collisions, 14 were related to persons crimes, and five were suspicious persons or vehicles.
Of the property crime, 23 were mischiefs (damage to property or obstructing lawful enjoyment), 12 were thefts, seven were break and enters, six were frauds and three were thefts of vehicles.
In addition, 22 calls were related to spousal abuse, and nine were related to mental health concerns.
During this period, Vermilion RCMP laid 41 charges, including 29 criminal code, and 12 provincial offences.
Four of the criminal charges were related to failing to comply with conditions/court, 13 were related to property crimes, and 14 were related to persons crimes.
