Gamache arrested and charged with more stolen property crimes
A known repeat offender is facing a new batch of charges.
On July 11, the Bonnyville RCMP attended a residence in La Corey for an unrelated matter, however, while on scene observed a stolen truck and other stolen property.
The next day they got a search warrant to recover the stolen property, but the suspect evaded police.
On Aug. 7, a roadside check was conducted with a vehicle in which the suspect was a passenger and determined to be breaching his Probation Conditions.
Dean Gamache was arrested and charged with Possession of a Stolen Truck Over $5000, two counts of Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 and Possession of Weapons Contrary to an Order in relation to the July 12th Search Warrant.
He’s also charged with two counts of Failing to Comply with a Release Condition and Resisting Arrest in relation to the August 7th traffic stop.
A bail hearing was held and Gamache was remanded into custody.
His next court date is Sept 16th.
