Calf stolen and butchered north of Bonnyville Thursday night

The Bonnyville RCMP are looking for suspects after a report of a stolen calf on Thursday night.

In a weekly RCMP update, police report that on Thursday, July a calf was stole from a farm in the Lessard area, north of Bonnyville.

It was then butchered, and they disposed of the remains. 

Cattle farmers in the MD of Bonnyville are encouraged to check their cattle regularly and help keep an eye on their neighbour’s cattle when they’re able. 

The matter is still under investigation and anyone with information on this crime is asked to reach out.
