St. Paul and Cold Lake will be two special stops during the RCMP’s Musical Ride Tour this summer.
The travelling troupe is composed of up to 32 RCMP officers and their horses, as they perform intricate formations and drills set to music.
The St. Paul Ag Society will play host on July 23 and the Cold Lake Ag Society on July 24.
They are two of 20 communities selected for their visit to Alberta. The Musical Ride Tour is also going to Quebec and the Northwest Territories.
It’s a unique experience to see the tour, as they only come once every four years to a province.
The iconic Canadian spectacle is recognized at home and abroad, and a symbol of tradition, honour, and pride.
Community organizations benefit from the ability to fundraise using their event as well.
